Missouri State University Master of Accountancy students Jamey Arter, Bailey Ewert and Lucy Petet placed first in the 2023 Government Finance Case Challenge. Organized by the Association of Government Accountants, the Government Finance Case Challenge is an annual competition that tests the financial aptitude and problem-solving skills of undergraduate and graduate students.

Missouri State University student Heather Vlietstra was recently inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, an academic honor society with chapters and members on more than 325 college campuses in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Fifteen Missouri State University students were among 300 students from 30 colleges and universities to attend the Midwest Model United Nations (MMUN) conference in St. Louis, Missouri, from Feb. 21-24, 2024. Several of them won awards at the conference.
